At Lyne Down Farm we produce both
bottled and draught cider and perry.
Our famous ‘Roaring Meg’ cider (for which we have recently won 1st prize at the Three Counties Show read more...) is popular in both 500ml bottles and draught sold in 2.5, and 10 litre containers.
In addition we make various single variety ciders including Kingston Black, Yarlington Mill and Stoke Red which are limited in quantity and often sell out before the end of the summer season.
varies with each vintage and comes bottled and slightly sparkling in a medium dry and also in still draught form which is a medium product. Again this product is in much demand and often sells out before the end of the summer season.
Our perry and cider is used in various recipes at the Bridge House Hotel & Restaurant in Ross on Wye, who are the proud winners of the Flavours of Herefordshire award for Restaurant of the Year 2005, 2006 and 2007.
We also produce cakes, Christmas hampers,
cider barrel tubs.
