The Big Apple
The Big Apple weekend is an ideal opportunity to enjoy the autumn countryside in the Herefordshire parishes of the Marcle ridge. The local orchards in this area are famous for their cider fruit and eating apples. We at Lyne Down Farm along with other cider makers invite you to share with us the tradition of cider making.
Last year at Lyne Down, the weather was kind to us and as a result both locals and visitors to the area flocked to enjoy the age old tradition of Cidermaking at our Farm.
We also had the cider City Jazzmen playing, to which many of our visitors joined in with some dancing, making for a very friendly and enjoyable day for everyone concerned.
A ready supply of our Perry sausages, Cider Lambburgers, Cider and Brandy fruit cake, without forgetting our fine Ciders and Perry were available for the hungry and thirsty amongst us.
